Milton Plant Swap – Saturday May 14^th

The Village Hall hosted the Annual Milton Plant Swap and Sale on May 14th and the room was filled with the vibrant colours of both bedding and perennial plants. Trade was very brisk at the start of the event, with many visitors from previous plant swaps arriving early to snap up the more unusual specimens. Vegetable plants were also popular and gardeners chatted over a coffee once their purchases/swaps were complete, a very sociable occasion.

Thanks to all who supported and to Carl and Mandy for organising this. 

Profits will go towards the upkeep and improvement of Milton Village Hall.

    Milton Plant Swap & Sale  2015

The Plant Swap on Saturday May 9^th saw the Village Hall full of plants!

Plants were swapped and sold as were a selection of colourful bedding plants and hanging baskets. Gardeners chatted over coffee and biscuits, and over £525 was raised for Village Hall funds.

   The  2013  Event May 18th 2013 was well attended and enjoyed by both keen gardeners looking to swap plants and those seeking reasonably priced bedding plants for the season. There was a large variety of plants on offer including some impressive bamboos, plus a selection of reclaim chimney pots and garden antiques. Thanks to everyone who supported the event or helped on the day, it was great to see so many local faces.
