Friday November 18th 2016 – The Night Milton Village Hall went ‘Posh’
Picture the scene, black table cloths adorned with sparkles, tall candle centre pieces and a large central chandelier. Gentlemen in dinner jackets and the ladies in their posh frocks.
The evening started with wine and canapés followed by a hot meal of salmon in watercress sauce or chicken in white wine sauce, with dessert and cheese to follow.
The entertainment was provided by Johnny Victory who sang songs by a variety of 50’s and 60’s artistes including Frank Sinatra, Elvis, Buddy Holly & Bobby Darren to name just a few.
Impromptu additional entertainment was provided by the ladies of Milton and friends doing a chorus line version of Frank Sinatra’s ‘I did it my way’.
The evening ended with 75% of the guests on the dance floor and two encores and much applause for Johnny Victory and his assistant James.
