Milton Tea Dance – Saturday October 18th
The bunting was out in Milton Village Hall for a quintessential English Tea Dance. The afternoon started with villagers and visitors learning four short set piece routines under the expert and friendly guidance of tutors Karen and Carol.
This was followed by a lovely tea, served on bone china, with cake stands laden with assorted finger sandwiches (crusts removed of course), scones with jam and cream, small delicate cakes and of course a plentiful supply of tea.
Feeling fully replenished dancers returned to the floor putting together into one dance the four routines learned earlier. A lovely friendly afternoon with lots of laughter and a chance to chat over tea. Thank you to Karen and Carol the tutors, Dawn for organising and all those who helped prepare the tea and the hall.
