Our Story
Dating back to the early 18th Century The Swan has been at the centre of village life for over 200 years, we have everything that you would expect from a traditional village pub – and perhaps a little something that you would not expect.The cosy bar offers a range of great ales, lagers, gins, wines and spirits. In fact we are a bit famous for the quality of our Bass and the one thing a Bass drinker recognises is a good pint.
Next door, the intimate restaurant offers a selection of freshly prepared dishes with a range of wines to suit. From traditional pub classics to a host of specials – you will not be diappointed.
Open Wednesday to Saturday for an evening meal, Thursday, Friday and Saturday lunchtimes and Sunday Lunches.

Every other Monday brings the now famous Pub Quiz (always a lot of fun). Sunday Sessions Live Music every other week in the bar (6.00-8.00pm). Bingo every Sunday at 8.00pm.
We recommend booking to avoid disappointment but you are also welcome to call in to see if we have space – we will always do our best to accommodate you.
